Because of J1 status, I am considered as "Single" for tax despite I have wife and a son. After inputing all the information, the system told me I have no any return from my withheld ($3085.9 USD). I was expecting there would be several hundreds for my family.
I guess I have to say goodbye to my telescope and motor drive. So long my equipment to come.
因為J1身份，我去年的繳稅身份是單身。我咧！我還有老婆兒子要養！被預扣的三千多塊美金，一毛也退不回來！原本預計會有個幾百塊的退稅，可以支持我的觀星計畫，還有帶全家出去玩一趟。現在全都泡湯了。如果沒有奇蹟的話，我看得把望遠鏡退掉了。殘念！
PS。要到出國留學做研究，一定要趁早啊！
